Welcome Dear Readers!

There we sit amongst the butterflies, in reverie about the time gone by

Rosie and Teddy

As my first published book, this is a special story to me. One year, I gave my Grandma a teddy bear for Valentine's Day. Her boxer dog, Rosie, loved this teddy bear and often snuggled the bear on the couch. My Grandma would send pictures of Rosie and Teddy to let me know how much this little boxer dog loved her Valentine.

They became a pair of likely friends, with Rosie always scared of everything and teddy bears being the natural protector over bedtime and all things hiding in the closet. Rosie, the dog, found comfort in Teddy.

For years, I thought, "What if they went on adventures when no one was home?" I finally wrote and published their first adventure. I have more Rosie and Teddy stories written and waiting to be published.

Thank you to all my family and friends who have supported me throughout the writing and publishing process. I want to give a special thank you to the wonderful Alison Mutton, whose illustrations brought the story to life. You can view Alison's art portfolio Here.

The Up and Coming

While I love writing children's stories and will continue to write more picture books, I enjoy writing poetry and other types of stories as well. I have the pleasure of writing for The Up and Coming, an online magazine where new writers have the opportunity to publish their work and share with the rest of the world. Click here to enjoy poetry, short stories, and anything else I feel inspired to write.
